I have used the Jetway BI-510 motherboard for a while in my test system and I can with a good feeling in the stomach say that this motherboard is an excellent card for the price. It is not a high-end motherboard with lots of fancy features, extreme cooling solutions and large bundle but a card that could function without problems in a normal PC only be used for word processing, Internet and of course a little HD material now and then.

It annoys me, however, that there is no room for the HDMI connector on the I / O panel, instead of having a Display Port on a spare PCI-E card. Something else is a little odd is the inclusion of Display Port instead of DVI. Display Port is not so far advanced yet that we may even replace the DVI port with this so it is undoubtedly a small negative things. Moreover, we could perhaps have had more than 4 USB ports when the chipset supports 12 The physical size of the motherboard is smaller than most other ATX motherboard, and that is a plus if it is to sit in a HTPC or a small office cabinet.

But if it is used for a HTPC to run HD material, there may have been other better alternatives, for example. some of the AMD-based motherboard that was used for comparison in the test. CPU load was still much higher compared to the other motherboard, and in the general benchmarks that GMA X4500HD solution has no highest scores. It has not been possible to get a Danish pricing for Jetway BI-510 but I do not think it will be over 700kr.(80Euro) It recently tested Jetway HA07-Ultra which is a series higher than BI-510 cost around 700kr (80Euro) so the BI-510 should be cheaper than that. So if Jetway BI-510 will have a price of about 4-500kr (60 euro) I will be happy because it really is a fair price.
